We are a 501(c)(3) Organization!

Samantha is a sweet snuggly girl who has had a dislocated hip that was never fixed.  She now requires surgery to repair her hip.  She is also heartworm positive from being chained outside all her life and given no medical care.  She just turned 3 yrs old April 2nd.

She loves being in the house and is housebroken.  She loves to snuggle on the couch or in bed.  She is also crate trained and knows when it’s time to eat.

She’s your typical Weim that loves to counter surf and will steal unattended open food or sandwiches from the counter.  She plays wonderfully with other dogs big and small and lives with 5 other Weims ranging in age from 1 yr to 15 yrs.

She’s great at the dog park but is limited right now due to her hip injury.  She walks wonderfully on a leash and knows some basic commands.  She LOVES her belly rubbed and gives lots of kisses!

She is currently going through heartworm treatment and her hip surgery is next week.

Samantha and FLWR would be grateful for any financial assistance you could give towards her very expensive surgery.  We accept Pay Pal or you may send a donation to Florida Weimaraner Rescue—504 Firewood Ave, Eustis, FL 32726

If you are interested in adopting Samantha, please take a moment and fill out an application.

Taz is a 16 month old blue male Weimaraner who’s full of energy and loves everyone.  He was very malnourished and had no muscle tone when he came into us.  His foster mom, Kim, has him ready to go to a new home that MUST continue the love and attention he needs to make a full recovery!

Taz loves to go for a ride on the bike or for a run.  He is not crate trained and prefers to be with his humans or fur friends.  He sleeps on the floor by the bed but would welcome the comfort of the mattress, if allowed.

He is very well behaved when left alone and likes to take things but not destroy them.  He likes to go shopping and gather things!  He’s pretty laid back and loves to be around kids.  He has the type of temperament that might do well with a cat.

If you are interested in meeting Taz or learning more about him, please contact his foster mom:

Rin Tin Tin will be 4 yrs old in August.  He is originally form South America and his 87 yr old owner recently passed away.  Rinny lived with her and several inside cars, small dogs and some birds.  He is VERY lonely and needs a loving family.  He is use to being in a crate and is housebroken.

He will chase outside cats but is fine with inside cats.  He likes small dogs and big dogs too.

He has not lived with kids but seems to be drawn to them in the parks.

He is being neutered this week and will be ready for a new forever home.  He is use to being the center of attention and needs a family that can love him and let him know that he is home.

He has been bounced around from home to home over the past few weeks as the owner’s friends tried to get him adopted and then into rescue.  He loves his stuffed animals and his belly scratched.

If you think your are the family for Rinny, please take a moment and fill out an application.
